The CHEKKER index for Diaphragm Meters uses the manually read out data by means of a two-digit, mechanically generated encrypted check number. This check number is also recorded during the read-out process and permits to verify the correctness of the read-out data in the computer system. This is done automatically during data input so that 100% checked data could be transferred immediately to the sales department.

The Absolute-ENCODER index for mechanical Gas Meters has a mechanical index which is optoelectronically scanned and read out. The data is then transferred in short time intervals via a digital interface to a device connected down the line. The safety of this data transfer is increased considerably compared to transfer of pulses, because whenever a transfer takes place the actual display of the gas meter's index is transferred as a data word.

The Smart Index for Turbine Meters SM-RI automatically allows lubrication as well as an alarm in case of back-flows.
