Netviewer allows us to watch the screen of a remote PC via the Internet so that applications can be discussed and worked on together.
Once the connection has been established, the Elster-Instromet support partner has initially no access to your PC.
By enabling the remote control for applications you have previously released, he can work directly on your PC. The remote control authorisation can be revoked at any time by you with a simple mouse click.
The viewing direction can also be changed at any time using the Netviewer control panel.

Numerous mechanisms have been integrated in order to guarantee the security of a netviewer session. The entry of a randomly generated number ensures that the customer is connected to the correct support partner. The data is transmitted in encrypted form (128bit). The transmission itself is based on the standard TCP or HTTP Internet protocols used for normal Internet surfing.
