ExMFE Simulator

ExMFE%20Simulator

The ExMFE simulator is a practical testing tool for simulating all kinds of input signals for ExMFE4 and ExMFE5 input boards of the gas-net device series. It consists of a handy housing with board connectors on one side, as well as setting and connection facilities on the other side. The ExMFE simulator is directly plugged onto the input board of the gas-net device to be tested. The ExMFE simulator can be adapted to any kind of input board by means of an adapter.
No further accessories are required in the stand-alone operating mode; the output signals are directly set via rotary potentiometers and switches at the simulator.
Setting the values by means of a PC program is even more comfortable: In this operating mode the simulator is connected to the computer via USB.

Input signals

The following input signals can be simulated:

  • Pulses from 0 to 4000 Hz (Namur interface)
  • Encoder protocol
  • Digital inputs
  • Pressure via 4 to 20 mA
  • Temperature sensor type PT-100
  • Up to 4 HART transmitters
